Antique 1800s Butter Or Maple Sugar Wood Carved Stamp With Mold

I believe the photos of this piece say it ALL. This large antique carved wood butter or maple sugar stamp has eight different botanical designs and a wood knob handle. It comes in a fabulous square mold complete with old nails and cross pieces to elevate it. The stamp can be displayed down so that the knob is at the top, or face up with the knob below. It should be noted that one corner of the square mold has lost its nails and is loose. You may leave as is or repair to tighten the corner. I found this in Tennessee at an 1800s general store that still opens on a whim by its family owners and was full of treasures. This is a beautiful one of a kind addition to any collection.

Stamp measures 10 inches by 4 inches and is about 2.5 inches tall. The mold is 11 inches by 5 inches and is 3.25 inches tall.
