Where do I begin with this one? I received this directly from France and just knew it would be fabulous! The box is made of wood with hooks (one is broken) and a key hole. I love the character of the paint all over the outside of the box like it was well loved. On the inside, the treasures continue. There is an old wood palette, fabulous wood long handled art brushes, a small spackling tool and the original tin compartment liners. On the inside of the top lid is the most stunning mosaic of textured oil paints like a palette itself, as well as a beautiful French label. This set is true art for any collector and a one of a kind piece.
