Antique Finnish Birch Bark Tobacco Box With Lid

I got this piece in my box of antiques from Sweden and chose it because I thought it was so charming. It is an antique bent wood box covered in birch bark that has been carved with folk art symbols and graphics. It was used to store spices or tobacco, anything that needed to breathe and be kept dry. The top is carved from wood. It is dated 1909 in the carvings. This would make such a sweet little storage piece for smalls or even tea, spices, etc.

Measures 4.5 inches tall, 3.5 inches in diameter.
