Believed to be dated on the bottom with 1910, it is entirely hand carved from wood. There are some letters and florals carved all the way around in tones of muted green, brown and mustard yellow. The inside has also been painted many decades ago in a soft putty color. This piece does have signs of age and wear, like a few cracks and splits in the wood. It may have been repaired in a few spots at one time but they are good repairs. When looking inside, you can see daylight where the handle meets so it would not hold liquid but would be a beautiful vase for dried or faux florals\/greenery.
